Service Description
We specialize in representing debtors (individuals or businesses that owe money) or creditors (those to whom money is owed) during the complex bankruptcy process. We handle the tasks listed below: Advising Clients: We provide legal advice to clients regarding their bankruptcy options. We assess individual circumstances and guide clients on the best course of action. Preparing and Filing Petitions: We attorneys assist clients in preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions. This involves extensive paperwork that must be submitted to the federal court. Representation in Court Proceedings: We represent clients during court hearings related to bankruptcy. We advocate for our clients’ rights and interests. Negotiating with Creditors: When debts need to be repaid, we negotiate with creditors. We work to settle debts or establish repayment plans. We help clients propose plans of reorganization in Chapters 11 (individual and small business debtors only), Chapter 13 cases. We handle adversary proceedings in bankruptcy courts, contested hearings and trials, proof of claims, objection to claim of exemptions, objection to the discharge of particular debts and general debts, among others.
